The ION PH mini-conference last January 11 held at the Koinonia Theological Seminary went well despite a short notice. Participants came from two Bible Colleges, an NGO, the prominent UCCP Church in Davao and several other local churches.

Workshops on Simply The Story were presented by Andy Tillman of ActBeyond and Dr. Julie Bustamante, the Network of Biblical Storytellers – Mindanao. As of last year several Bible Colleges have already incorporated Oral Bible Storying in their curriculum and plans this year to included STS and Disciple Making Movement in Bible Colleges. A Mindanao-wide ION PH conference is being planned for October of this year. The ION PH network is growing and advancing.

Dr. Julie Bustamante is the Seminary Director of KTS, Board member of the Philippine Association of Bible and Theological Schools, she is also a board member of the Asia Graduate School of Theology.  She also directs the Network of Biblical Storytellers in Mindanao.
